Job Interview is a process in which an employee is evaluated by an employer for employment in their organisation. No matter where you went to school, no matter how much experience you have, no matter whom you know--if you cannot qualify the interview successfully, you will not get the job. |
Your resume has given you the chance of interview. The first step is to collect all the information about the organization. In addition, before appearing for the interview learns as much as possible about the job you are being interviewed. Predict why the organization is interested in you. Make a list of specific examples of achievements from your past, which shows you can meet the organization’s requirements. You must also be attired well at the time of interview. |
| Some important things to remember while appearing for the interview |
• Arrive on time.
• Introduce yourself in a courteous manner.
• A firm handshake
• Listen to what the interviewer has to say.
• Do not interrupt the interviewer.
• Do not act nervous while being interviewed. If you are given a revolving chair, keep it steady.
• Unnecessary revolving of the chair would distract the interviewer and annoy the interviewer.
• Do not be overbearing, overaggressive or egotistical.
• Carry all relevant documents of the achievements mentioned in your resume.
• Use body language to show interest.
• Always look relaxed, friendly and positive.
• Thank the interviewer's before leaving. |
